Today we visited Mohan Meakin Limited and were given a tour around the brewery, the place where they make cornflakes and place where they make the glass bottles.

It was pretty good fun. We got a taste of the beer and it was delicious. We also had a delicious lunch and were given gift bags with lots of things in including
a whole box of cornflakes each!

In the evening I practiced Street Dance, Indian Dancing and our song for the cultural show on friday.

On our tour around President House we walked around the gardens. They were vast and impressive however it was a very hot day so some of us were struggling in the sun, especially as we didn’t have any water with us.

We saw a museum which had large paintings of past Monarchs, old kitchen utensils and plaques telling some Indian history.

Later on Tom, Matt, Lucy Miller and I went to and Old Age home while the others went to a restaurant. We helped serve the old people food. They were interesting and good to talk to. Robin and Shabam (Indian students who accompanied us) translated for us when the residents couldn’t understand us and we couldn’t understand them. There was a lovely peaceful garden upstairs where the residents said they went for walks in the morning. After spending some time with the old people and sharing the differences in our cultures we walked to the coach and went back to campus with the others.
